Something odd is going on with this
blog. When I open it with FireFox or Safari, it looks the way it is
supposed to look. When I open it in Explorer, it is quite jumbled;
dates and pictures with wrong entries. What is going on?
At any rate, we spent time both
yesterday and today at Sunshine Auto in Sarasota. Westy needed a
thermostat and so we left her with the good guys at the garage (Their motto is "No VW Should Ever Die")and
walked a few blocks to the Hob Nob Cafe, an open air restaurant that
has been a neighbourhood fixture since 1957. Since we had to hang
around for most of the afternoon we decided to walk to the Hollywood
movie theatre where we watched "The Descendants"...great film. I also
found a nail place and got a great pedicure.We enjoyed the long walk as it was warm and sunny.
Westy got a much needed wash before we
headed back to Venice. Tomorrow: golf.
