It has been a long time since we played
18 holes of golf, but that is what we did today. We played at Lake
Venice Golf Club, where there are several holes where “Beware of
Alligators” signs can be found. There was a 'gator sunning on the
side of a pond on the 6th hole. Luckily, we managed to
keep the balls and carts away from the creature. It took the three of
us just over 5 hours to play the round and while none of us can brag
about a great score, we did have fun. It was a most enjoyable
afternoon.
