Yesterday we were invited to golf with
a group of people in the area who play 18 holes every Thursday.
Although unsure of our abilities we were assured that no one in the
group took the game too seriously and that to them golf was “just a
game.” They were a great group of people and we must have done OK
as we were invited to join them again next Thursday.
Today was a day with no plans. A walk
in the morning, a bike ride to a delightful coffee shop in the
afternoon and Thai food this evening filled the day. It is so enjoyable to be here in Venice.
